WWE Weekend News & Notes: Smackville, SummerSlam Heatwave Tour, More

In addition to their WWE Smackville live special from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennesee later this evening, WWE also runs the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma tonight for the latest stop on their ongoing WWE Live SummerSlam Heatwave Tour.

Top matches advertised for tonight’s WWE Oklahoma City live event is Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin in a Street Fight, Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans for the RAW Women’s Championship and A.J. Styles vs. Ricochet for the WWE United States Championship.

Things continue on Sunday, as WWE runs another day featuring two separate live events.

First up, WWE will make their return to the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri with a non-televised live event featuring advertised matches that includes Kofi Kingston vs. Samoa Joe vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Triple-Threat Match for the WWE Championship, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Finn Balor for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss in a Women’s Triple-Threat Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Finally, WWE closes out the weekend with their second of two shows on Sunday, as they run the JOH Arena in Springfield, Missouri with Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin and Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans for the RAW Women’s Championship as the top two advertised matches for the RAW brand house show.
