RAW Opens with Miz TV

The A-Lister’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring for another must-see edition of Miz TV. Replays are shown of Miz attacking Shane McMahon on last Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live. The Miz will face McMahon in a Steel Cage Match at the XL Center in Hartford this Sunday at Money in the Bank. Miz welcomes the crowd to an international edition of Miz TV from London. This Sunday is Money in the Bank. It’s one of the most must-see events each year. In that briefcase is a contract that is WWE’s equivalent to Marvel’s Infinity Stone. That contract all but guarantees a title. Miz cashed in, and it took his career to new heights. The same will happen to a man and a woman this weekend. Upon winning, the two briefcase holders can get a title match anytime and anywhere.

Miz can’t talk about a title match without talking about his opponent, “The Best in the World” Shane McMahon. This Sunday, they will square off inside a steel cage. As much as Miz would love to talk about himself, he has to talk about other matters, including his special guest. This is one of four guests from SmackDown Live who has a story that has inspired millions around the world.
Roman Reigns’ entrance theme hits, and the crowd begins to boo The Big Dog. The crowd microphones are turned down. Reigns gets in the ring and sits in a chair. Miz welcomes the former Universal Champion to the show. This Sunday, he has a one-on-one showdown with Elias. What can we expect from The Roman Empire? Reigns talks about how Elias is young and strong. The crowd sings, “Walk with Elias.” Reigns cracks a joke – if you need a karaoke performance or a wedding singer, you can walk with him. The Drifter hasn’t done a thing since being in WWE. Elias hasn’t won any titles. This Sunday, Roman’s bringing the big fight. Miz says although he’s never seen eye to eye with Roman, they’ve both won championships, done movies. The A-Lister thinks they should get together for a buddy comedy. Reigns asks what The A-Lister is doing. He sounds like the old Miz. The old Miz would get a Superman Punch in the mouth. Reigns wants to hang out with the new Miz. He wants to hang out with the guy that last week stood up to The Authority. The guy who chased Shane McMahon with a chair. Reigns then reminds him by sending us to a video package.
Footage is shown from last week’s Monday Night RAW when Shane and The Drifter attacked Roman during his match against Drew McIntyre. The A-Lister then made the save and chased Shane O’Mac backstage. Miz then attacked The Best in the World with a chair.
Miz asks if that’s the The Miz Reigns wants to talk to. Roman says that’s The Miz everyone wants. Miz says it took his feud with Shane to realize that what’s important is respect from your peers and the WWE Universe. After 13 years, he’s finally earning it. McMahon hasn’t earned anything in his life. Shane’s had a silver spoon in his mouth. Now it’s time for the silver spoon to meet a steel cage. The Miz may not be the biggest, but he knows how to win. Shane attacked Miz’s father. Sunday, Shane’s privilege won’t help him. Shane will go down faster than Vince did to a Superman Punch.

Shane O’Mac’s music hits, and he comes out to the stage. The Best in the World has a black eye. Shane says it’s flattering that they’re out here talking about him, but he’s their boss. Being the boss, Shane’s here to inform them that as of right now, Miz TV is finished. Elias and Bobby Lashley attack Reigns and The Miz from behind. The Drifter and Lashley join McMahon on the stage. Shane then books Miz and Reigns to take on Lashley and Elias. That match is next.
