WWE Live in Kalamazoo, MI 3/2/18 – Raw House Show @ Wings Event Center

“Woken” Matt Hardy def. Bray Wyatt

Spirited affair that saw the crowd slowly get behind Hardy. Loud “Delete!” chants by the end, Matt pinned Bray after he countered a Sister Abigail into a Twist of Fate.

Mustafa Ali & Lince Dorado def. Ariya Daivari and Jack Gallagher

Not much to it, crowd behind the face team. Most dead match on the card. Lince Dorado pinned Daivari after his Oscutter/Stunner finish (no clue what the name of it actually is).

Braun Strowman def. Kane

Both men get huge pops. Good big man match with the stairs being used on each other in the entryway. Braun kicked out of a choke slam by Kane, then hit a running powerslam for the win.

The Revival vs. Heat Slater & Rhyno.

Again not much to this one either, normal house show comedy fare. Crowd was behind Rhyno most of the match as he egged everyone on to chant “He’s Got Kids” rather than “ECW.” Revival wins with a small package.

Seth Rollins def. Cesaro w/ Sheamus

Best match of the night, tons of action and back and forth. Seth was MASSIVELY over with the crowd, huge “Let’s Go Rollins” chants throughout the match. Sheamus played a sneaky heel attacking Seth multiple times throughout the match before finally being ejected by the referee. Seth hit Cesaro with a superkick, spinning kick to the gut and Curb Stomp for the pin.

Asuka, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Mickie James def. Absolution (w/Paige), Nia Jaxx amd Alexa Bliss

Crowd went ballistic for Asuka when she came out, as well as Sasha who followed right after. Lots of action was the heels working over Bayley, who wasn’t as well received as you’d expect. Typical multi-woman tag match. Finish came when Mickie turned on her team to help Alexa pin Bayley. Bayley escaped and tagged in Asuka who cleaned house, finally submitting Mandy Rose with an armbar

The Club def. The Miztourage (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel)

Nothing special here. Finish came when The Club hit the Magic Killer on Axel.

Roman Reigns def. Elias

Elias was out first for a performance. This guy knows how to get nuclear heat. Teased leaving the ring multiple times when the crowd wouldn’t stop booing/chanting “You suck!” Finally played the song he wrote for us about how Kalamazoo sucks an all of us were stupid. The entire segment lasted over 10 minutes as the crowd wanted his blood. Cue Roman Reigns…and the crowd went nuts. A few random guys chanted Roman sucks but he was massively over, especially after Elias’ performance. Good match between the two with good near falls. Finish came when Roman escaped the drift away, hit a superman punch and spear.

Overall a very fun night

**Finn Balor was advertised but did not appear, which was unfortunate.
