Tonight on WWE 205 Live, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy hopes to send a message to Mustafa Ali when he battles the UK division’s Mark Andrews. Plus, can The Lucha House Party stop TJP from stealing their masks?
Can The Lucha House Party Stop TJP?
Despite The Lucha House Party making their presence felt on Monday Night RAW in recent weeks, they have been dealing with the scourge of none other than TJP. Last week, the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion refused a battle against Gran Metalik, citing his victory against him in The Cruiserweight Classic as evidence he doesn’t need to face The King Of The Ropes.
However, after Metalik claimed victory against a local competitor, TJP attacked and ripped off Metalik’s mask, adding another to his collection. Kalisto and Lince Dorado did not arrive in time, as The Cruisergreat escaped through The WWE Universe, proudly displaying his trophy.
Will TJP claim another mask? Or will The Lucha House Party develop a strategy to stop their nemesis?
Buddy Murphy’s First Battle As Champion:
Last week on WWE 205 Live, Mustafa Ali defeated Tony Nese to earn the right to challenge Buddy Murphy for The WWE Cruiserweight Championship. While the time and place of the impending battle between Ali & Murphy has yet to be determined, The Juggernaut is not shying away from competition. Murphy revealed last week that with WWE 205 Live emanating from Manchester, England – the home of WWE’s UK division – he wanted to go up against one of the brand’s best – the high-flying Mark Andrews.
The Welsh Superstar in no stranger to WWE 205 Live, having actively competed in The WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament earlier this year. Andrews can also boast a victory over Murphy’s training partner Tony Nese, and his agile, high-flying style is certainly a force to be reckoned with. However, The WWE Cruiserweight Champion remain undeterred and aims to make an example out of Andrews for Mustafa Ali and anyone else who dares challenge his reign.
