What Happened Before & After SmackDown Live Went On & Off The Air

Before SmackDown Live went on the air, the dark match that took place in Grand Rapids, Michigan saw Tye Dillinger defeat Mike Kanellis.
As seen on SmackDown Live, WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers did not appear on this week’s show but Jinder Mahal did work the dark main event defending his WWE Title after WWE 205 Live went off the air.
That match saw The Modern Day Maharaja retain his WWE Title over Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat Match. No word yet on what WWE has planned for Jinder Mahal after he retained The WWE Title over Shinsuke Nakamura at Sunday’s WWE Hell in a Cell PPV. The feud with Nakamura may be finished as Nakamura appeared on SmackDown Live to team up with Randy Orton to take on the team of Rusev and Aiden English. Nakamura and Orton won the match.
