Update On Rey Mysterio's Lucha Underground Debut, Future In The Ring

As of this week, Rey Mysterio has yet to finalize his deal with Lucha Underground, however he is still expected to make his debut with the promotion at their television tapings this weekend.

Mysterio is looking to work a limited schedule due to his knee issues. Apparently, Mysterio is looking to pick and choose when he wrestles, with the feeling that if he does that he can last three or four more years in the ring, whereas if he wrestled regularly, he wouldn’t have much time left.

Mysterio has also been pitched an idea for his own merchandise line separate from any wrestling company, one that would target Latinos and kids.

As of right now, Mysterio is expected to work mostly for AAA and Lucha Underground.
