Two title matches announced for next week's WWE Raw

Two title matches are set for next week’s episode of Raw.

WWE has announced that Raw Tag Team Champions The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) will defend their titles against The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) on Raw next Monday. The United States Championship will also be on the line as Riddle defends against Mustafa Ali on next Monday’s Raw.

Ahead of next week’s Tag Team title match, Woods defeated Benjamin in singles action on Raw tonight. Woods pinned Benjamin after Benjamin had turned his attention to Kingston on the outside.

Riddle, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado defeated RETRIBUTION’s T-Bar, Mace & Slapjack on Raw last week, but Ali then challenged Riddle to face him. Ali defeated Riddle in non-title action after multiple distractions by RETRIBUTION.

Riddle defeated Slapjack on Raw tonight.

Benjamin & Alexander became Raw Tag Team Champions by winning the titles from Kingston & Woods at December’s TLC pay-per-view. Riddle won the United States Championship by defeating Bobby Lashley and John Morrison in a triple threat match at Elimination Chamber last month. Next week’s match against Ali will be Riddle’s first United States title defense.

Next Monday’s Raw is the brand’s go-home show for Fastlane.
