Tour China’s porcelain city with UK-born artist
September 11, 2019
It might be quite enough for many to stay in another country for a few months to feel its exoticism, but for the porcelain artist Philip Reed who have stayed in China for over 22 years, that’s simply too short.
Born in England and later became a Canadian, he then decided to move to a small town in China named Jingdezhen because of its long history in making porcelain.
Great changes have taken place in this city and many foreign cultural elements have been brought in over the 20 years, but what remain unchanged is the original charm of porcelain which people in the city has made efforts to inherit and keep till later generations.
