This Pretty Little Liars Star Scored a Major New Movie Role

Spencer Hastings is moving to Antarctica!

EW has confirmed that after seven seasons on Pretty Little Liars, Troian Bellisario has joined the cast of Richard Linklater’s Where’d You Go, Bernadette. The film, based on Maria Semple’s 2012 book, follows Bernadette Fox (played by Cate Blanchett), a neurotic former architect who disappears suddenly, leaving her daughter to try and track her down. According to Variety, which first reported the news, Bellisario will play Becky, the first person Bernadette meets during her time in Antarctica.

Bellisario, who posted a photo on Instagram to show her excitement, joins a cast that includes Kristen Wiig and Billy Crudup, in addition to Blanchett.
