This 96-YO Grandmother From Kerala Has Passed Her Class IV Exam, Now Wants To Study Till 10th

They say that for learning there is no age bar. And 96-year-old Karthyayani Amma from Kerala is living proof for it. On Saturday the native of Alappuzha sat down for her first formal examination under the Kerala Literacy Mission’s ‘Akshara Laksham’ (Million Letter) programme.

After the initial confusion, she went through the question paper, filled it up with ease as she got used to it. The grandmother who appeared for the exam at Cheppad Kanichanellur Government LP School was one of about 40,000 candidates statewide who took the test with was equivalent to the Class IV.Click Here: new zealand rugby team jerseys
