The Miz & Maryse Expecting a Baby, Miz Destroys Enzo Amore on Raw

That’s right! The Miz and Maryse have announced that they are expecting to have their first child together sometime very soon. This week’s Raw saw Miz, Maryse, and The Miztourage all come down to the ring for a Miz TV segment. Before the segment officially began, Miz and Maryse took the time to announce to the fans that they are expecting to have a baby. The announcement does appear to be a legitimate one, and multiple fans and wrestlers alike have already congratulated the soon-to-be parents. Miz and Maryse married in the Bahamas in 2014 after years of dating, and they have been working together as an onscreen couple since 2016.

However, the celebration was cut short when Enzo Amore came down to the ring. Enzo Amore tried to interrupt the Intercontinental Champion, but The Miz then promptly went off on a massive rant over how Enzo is perceived backstage. The promo seemed to touch on all of the rumors that have gotten out as it pertains to Amore’s popularity backstage. He mentioned that Amore had indeed been kicked off of tour buses and the WWE locker room over his attitude backstage. Miz also reminded Amore that his current rival, Neville, is someone who works hard everyday to be the best in the business, but all Enzo apparently cares about is hanging out with “third-rate rappers.”
The Miz said that Enzo did not join the cruiserweight division because he can help out the division, but because he has nowhere else to go in the company. Enzo fired back by calling Miz a “paper champion.” The two eventually had a match together which ended after Enzo grabbed a microphone and asked Miz “who’s your daddy?” This set The Miz off, and he and The Miztourage lost by disqualification. The comments Miz made in the promo are very much believed to be the legitimate thoughts on Enzo from WWE creative and performers backstage. Enzo Amore is said to be disliked by most people backstage, and Miz’s promo on Raw may have been the creative team’s way of warning Enzo that he is on thin ice at the moment.
