The Outside hallways are stacked with boxes, and our offices are overflowing with gear. But even we can't get our hands on every product. To fill the gaps, we often ask experts about the gear they're using. Other times, we read online reviews. 

This week, we wanted to expand on our waterproof speaker review from 2016, so we searched Amazon's best selling list and chose five speakers that met the following criteria: each had somewhere around 1,000 comments, and each got a five-star rating at least 70 percent of the time. "Is it a Bose? No. But for a waterproof speaker, the Aomais has really good sound and the battery will last for eight hours on full blast. I really like the auto-off features as well, as I tend to leave the house or beach sometimes for beer or snacks and forget to turn it off. Bluetooth is quick to pair and with no problems. It has a range of about 40 to 50 yards, too!"
