SPOILERS: Top Matches Set for NWA’s First PPV of 2020
Following the success of this past weekend’s Into The Fire pay-per-view, the National Wrestling Alliance returned to Atlanta, GA for a two-day set of NWA Powerrr television tapings, which will begin rolling out this Tuesday night at 6:05 PM ET on YouTube.
The tapings revealed multiple matches for the promotion’s as-of-yet unnamed return to pay-per-view on January 25th, its first event in 2020.

Allysin Kay will be defending her NWA Women’s World Championship at the show, in what should be a great match against Thunder Rosa. After being left out of a tag team match at Into The Fire, Thunder Rosa took out her frustrations on several individuals, which will continue into her oncoming title opportunity.
The crowning of the new NWA National Champion has also been advertised for the as-of-yet unnamed pay-per-view. A tournament will begin next week on NWA Powerrr to begin the process of determining that champion.
The remaining names in the tournament are Ricky Starks, Trevor Murdoch, Tim Storm, Zicky Dice, Zane Dawson and Trevor Murdoch, which would mean the pay-per-view will either see two triple threat semifinal matches, followed by a singles finale, or three singles matches followed by a triple threat finale.
I’ve reached out to confirm this, but I believe Ken Anderson will be challenging for the NWA National Championship on the show. He won a gauntlet match over several stars including Colt Cabana and the champion, Aron Stevens. It will air on what will be the go-home show of NWA Powerrr.
