Second Cup for Olympiacos

Olympiacos, Foinikas Siros, Pamvohaikos and Iraklis Thessalonikis participated at the final four of the Greek Cup in Rethymnon, Crete. Olympiacos after winning the League Cup took another trophy, that of Greek Cup.

At the first day Olympiacos played against Pamvohaikos and disqualified it by 3-0. At the second game of the day Foinikas Siros disqualified Iraklis Thessalonikis by 3-1, a great accomplishment for Siros since it was the first time Foinikas qualified for the finals.

The final was played next day Olympiacos against Foinikas Siros and won by 3-0. Foinikas Siros although had a good start in all three sets made a lot of mistakes at the second half, the opposites couldn’t finish balls and on the other side, the Bulgarian Boyan Yordanov of Olympiacos was a team by himself. He had a great performance and was unstoppable in attack and rightfully was named MVP of the Finals.

Olympiacos – Pamvohaikos 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 27-25)

2nd DAY – The Final
