Rome clubs considering low cost option Sergio Rico

As reported by Ignazio Genuardi, Lazio and Roma are considering a move for PSG’s on-loan goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

Neither club considers the 28-year-old Spaniard Rico, who is currently on loan at Real Mallorca from Paris, their first choice goalkeeping option, but he is the more cost-effective option.

A loan with an option to buy at the end of next season is a possibility for the Serie A pair. Lazio had opened talks with the player, who is surplus to requirements at PSG, back in February.
