Rock & Cena Movies Being Released The Same Day, Torrie Tribute, WWE Special

— John Cena’s next flick, WWE Films’ 12 Rounds, and Disney’s Race To Witch Mountain starring former WWE star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, will both be released on Friday, March 12, 2009.
— Last Friday’s Smackdown averaged a 2.4 rating in the Fast Nationals. The show finished in fourth place for the night, beating programming from Fox. First hour drew a 2.3 and the second hour drew a 2.5. This number is up from last week’s 2.3 rating.
— It was noted during WWE’s shareholders meeting that MyNetworkTV will be airing a 1-hour recap of WrestleMania 24 as part of Smackdown’s premiere on the network in September. The recap special will features clips of WrestleMania 24 set to music.
