Rihanna Takes the Off-the-Shoulder Trend to the Next Level in New York City

We’re suckers for a good Rihanna sighting and on Wednesday the “Work” songstress seriously delivered.

While out and about in Manhattan, Riri bared some serious shoulder and collarbone in a white off-the-shoulder graphic sweatshirt (that has us thinking about taking a pair of scissors to our own hoodies) and paired it with loose light-wash distressed jeans that had large rips at the knees.

White high-top platform sneakers graced her feet and she carried a small Louis Vuitton purse for the outing. The singer accessorized further with a gold watch and a pendant necklace. She wore her new thigh-grazing dreadlocks in a high ponytail and a bright crimson color on her long pointed nails.

Rihanna recently returned from Paris Fashion Week where she sat front row at the Dior runway show and debuted her latest spring collection for her Fenty x Puma collaboration.

The musician and actress has had a busy year promoting her latest album Anti and going on tour, winning the MTV Video Vanguard Award, and performing an unforgettable set at the VMAs. But she doesn’t seem to be slowing down: Between her upcoming roles in 2017’s all-female Ocean’s 11 spinoff, titled Ocean’s 8, and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets Rihanna will probably remain in the public eye for a little while longer.
