The first day of the Spaniards’ three-day visit began with a meeting with Charles and Camilla at their posh hotel, ME London on The Strand. The foursome traveled together to the Horse Guards Parade for an official ceremonial welcome, where they were greeted by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, a royal salute, and a playing of the Spanish National Anthem.
Afterward, Felipe, accompanied by England’s queen, and Letizia, accompanied by Philip, enjoyed a state carriage procession to Buckingham Palace.

Letizia cut a stylish figure in a yellow and white ensemble by Hugo Boss, snakeskin heels from Spanish label Magrit, and an asymmetrical yellow hat perched effortlessly on her head. Queen Elizabeth kept things monochromatic in a magenta coat dress with a matching hat.
