PSG want €25m for Arnaud Kalimuendo
As reported by L’Équipe, PSG have placed a €25m price tag on young striker Arnaud Kalimuendo after two successful seasons on loan with Lens in Ligue 1.
The 20-year-old forward scored 21 goals and added six assists in 65 games at RCL since the northern club’s return to the French top flight two years ago but he remains under contract at the Parc des Princes until 2024.
That form and the player’s youth has attracted varied interest from across the continent and PSG, say the sports daily, have already received multiple offers for the player. Inter Milan have registered their interest in the player while Premier League side Leeds United submitted a bid last month. Kalimuendo, meanwhile, rejected an offer in June from promoted English side Nottingham Forest with Newcastle United and Leicester City also keen at the time.
Lens had hoped to sign the striker for a third loan season but that now seems unlikely as PSG, who offered to include the player as part of the deal to sign Milan Škriniar from Inter say the player, have decided to sell the 20-year-old this off-season as they search for much-needed transfer revenue.
