PSG considering Neymar’s replacements against Juventus
Neymar will be suspended from Paris Saint-Germain‘s Champions League fixture against Juventus on Wednesday after the Brazilian received his third yellow card against Maccabi Haifa last week.
According to a report from L’Équipe, PSG manager Christophe Galtier will field a strong team against the Bianconeri as the Parisien side is aiming to secure the top spot, which remains unsecured due to Benfica’s heroics in the respective group this season.
Neymar’s absence has posed several questions in front of the former Lille manager. The most likely solution, as per the report, would be playing Carlos Soler in the 30-year-old’s regular position as he did in PSG’s 3-0 win over Ajaccio on October 21.
On the other hand, Galtier could also play Lionel Messi behind a two-man forward line, including Kylian Mbappé and Pablo Sarabia. There is another option in the two-man pairing that could see Hugo Ekitiké running PSG’s attack alongside Mbappé.

It is understood that Galtier will have a fully fit squad at his disposal, with Danilo Pereira and Renato Sanches completing their recoveries. The manager has not given up on the idea of using the three-man defence, even though the current system has continued to yield results for the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
