Official | AS Monaco extend and loan out promising attacker Irvin Cardona

Irvin Cardona has signed a new deal at Monaco until 2021, and has also been sent out on loan to Belgian side Cercle Brugge, all in the same day.

The 19-year-old centre forward joins the Belgian side in a bid to gain first team experience, after making just seven appearances for Monaco this past season.

Cardona has been quite active in the UEFA Youth League throughout most of his career, boasting a record of six goals in 10 games in the competition. This move to Brugge will help Cardona with regards to first team football, with the player hoping this move will provide a platform to break into the Monaco side soon enough.
