Official | Angers have signed midfielder Vincent Pajot from St Étienne
Angers have completed the signing of midfielder Vincent Pajot from Saint-Étienne on a three-year contract.
The Domont-born central midfielder, who made 20 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, moves to the Stade Raymond Kopa for a €1m fee.
Pajot leaves Saint-Étienne after three years at the club, where he mustered 4 goals in 50 appearances over the course of his spell.

A former French U21 midfielder, Pajot has also previously enjoyed a 5-year spell at Rennes prior to his free transfer to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in 2015.
Angers will be hoping that their new signing will offer an authority and assurance in front of the defence as they seek an improvement on the 14th-place finish last season, just four points clear of a relegation play-off position.
Pajot becomes Angers’ second signing of the summer after the arrival of forward Stéphane Bahoken.
