News on WWE Bringing Back Inactive Wrestlers; Update on Luke Harper's Status

— With WWE moving towards exclusive rosters for Smackdown, Raw and to an extent, NXT, they have begun to bring people back who were otherwise not being used. Lio Rush on NXT, Luke Harper on Smackdown, Rusev on Raw and the AOP are talent that have recently been brought back.
— The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that in the case with Luke Harper, he was called about a return on September 13. His contract was originally set to expire this fall, but it was extended until the spring by WWE due to his inactivity while recovering from a wrist injury. As of this time, Harper still has not re-signed a contract according to the Observer, but WWE has involved him in one of the company’s biggest storylines and whether that gets him to change his mind remains to be seen.
