Lorient in talks to sign Quentin Boisgard from Toulouse

La Dépeche du Midi report that newly-promoted to Ligue 1 side FC Lorient are in talks with Toulouse to sign 23-year-old midfielder Quentin Boisgard.

Boisgard was one of the sole satisfactions for Les Violets in the 2019/20 campaign, as they endured a miserable season, finishing rock bottom, despite the league terminating after 28 matches played.

Les Merlus are in ongoing discussions to land the player with all the relevant parties, with fee talks occurring around the €2m mark. Boisgard is indeed interested in making the move happen.
