Lens to offer Jonathan Clauss a new contract

Speaking in a Facebook Live on Thursday, RMC Sport correspondent Mohamed Bouhafsi discussed over-performing RC Lens’s summer transfer window priorities.

Their top priority is to convince 28-year-old attacking full-back Jonathan Clauss to sign a new contract, after the free transfer signing for last summer’s exceptional maiden Ligue 1 campaign.

The same goes for the contract situations of Seko Fofana and Gaël Kakuta – RCL will look to lock them down to ward off the considerable interest expected from Europe in these three players over the course of the summer window.

Clauss is current under contract with RCL until June 2023.
