Kudos To Indian Agencies As They Arrest Dawood Ibrahim’s Aide Abu Bakar, Accused In 1993 Mumbai Blasts

A series of 12 bomb explosions across entertainment capital, Mumbai in 1993 that are considered one of the deadliest attacks on the city in history were coordinated by underworld criminal mobster, Dawood Ibrahim.

Almost 26 years since the attack, Indian agencies have apprehended key accused Abu Bakar in a major overseas operation on February 13. India Today reported that one of the main accused in the blast, Bakar had attended a training camp in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) before carrying out the attacks.

He had also brought RDX explosives and connived with Ibrahim regarding the blasts at his residence in Dubai. Bakar was identified as one of the main accused and was residing in the UAE and Pakistan.
