Kraft Visited Massage Parlor Morning Of AFC Title Game: Documents

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL — One of the two times Patriots owner Robert Kraft visited the day spa where prosecutors said he paid for sexual acts was the morning of the Patriots’ AFC Championship Game against Kansas City, according to court filings.

Kraft’s arraignment date has been tentatively set for Wed., April 24. He is charged with two misdemeanor counts of soliciting another to commit prostitution stemming from separate visits – the morning of and the day before the AFC Championship Game.

Each count carries a maximum jail sentence of one year, 100 hours of community service, a $5,000 fine and a class on the impact of human trafficking.

A probable cause affidavit says on Sunday, Jan. 20, Kraft was caught on camera at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa & Massage in Jupiter, FL. He entered at 10:59 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20, and left 14 minutes later, after a camera captured him undressing and climbing onto a massage table, where a woman performed a sexual act on him, according to documents. Kraft then gave the woman two bills, one of which was a $100, according to the documents.

Kraft made it to Kansas City to watch the Patriots defeat the Chiefs in overtime and advance to the Super Bowl. The kickoff time for that game was 6:40 p.m.

“These cases aren’t about any one defendant or group of defendants,” State Attorney Dave Aronberg told reported in a press conference Monday afternoon.

The charges against Kraft and dozens more in South Florida were announced by local authorities Friday.

“I can assure you that our office treats everyone the same, whether you have a lot of money or you’re indigent,” Aronberg said. “We treat all defendants the same and no one gets any special justice in Palm Beach County.”

Police said the massage parlor Kraft visited had enticed women from overseas by telling them they were coming to America for work, but instead forced them into sexual servitude.

“We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity,” a Kraft spokesperson said Friday. “Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.”
