Jim Ross Praises the Women of WWE on Social Media
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently praised the company’s female Superstars on Twitter. Ross pointed out that the women are promoting themselves quite nicely on social media. He also wondered why the men of WWE don’t seem to do it enough.
Social media has become an invaluable medium for Vince McMahon’s company. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are all used by WWE Superstars on a regular basis. That has allowed fans to connect to them, by giving them access they wouldn’t ordinarily have.
But rather than just give glimpses of their personal lives, many Superstars use social media to promote themselves and the company. Asuka is one of those Superstars, as she sent out a Tweet before SmackDown Live’s taping on December 29.
Of course when it comes to the women of WWE and social media, there is perhaps no one better than Becky Lynch. Becky is a constant presence online, where she routinely calls out anyone that crosses her path. It could even be said that much of her current success can be directly attributed to the work she does building her character on social media.
Just asking…why don’t more main roster males promote as aggressively on social media as the women of @WWE ? https://t.co/Rfvzj7LMD5
