Jeff Hardy Posts Photo Update Following Successful Rotator Cuff Surgery

The “Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy underwent a successful surgery this Tuesday to repair a torn rotator cuff, and possibly a few other nagging injuries.

WWE.com first reported that Hardy suffered the injuries during a six-pack challenge on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, although there’s been some speculation that he may have been struggling through the pain since the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view back in July. In addition to the rotator cuff, the former world champion also stated that he had torn his labrum and could have possibly dislocated his shoulder.

“Once they get in there, they’ll figure out more about what they have to repair. But for sure, the rotator cuff has to be repaired, and then they’ll look at the labrum when they get in there.”

Hardy posted a photo on Instagram Tuesday night following the surgery, and was all smiles. The general timetable on a torn rotator cuff is between 6-8 weeks, but that depends on how severe the injury was and if doctors had to repair anything else during the operation.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information, but it’s possible Jeff may be out several months longer than previously anticipated.

Let theHealing begin! . . ! 10-3-2017
