Gorakhpur Hospital Tragedy: No Evidence Of Medical Negligence Against Dr Kafeel Khan, Says Allahabad HC

In a major relief to pediatrician Dr Kafeel Khan who spent nearly eight months in jail after being arrested for medical negligence resulting in the death of dozens of infants in BRD Medical College Hospital Gorakhpur, the Allahabad High Court has finally granted him bail on Wednesday and have cleared him of all the charges.

The Allahabad High Court while granting bail to doctor Kafeel Ahmad Khan, has said that there was “no material on record, which may establish medical negligence against” him individually in connection with the death.
