Gopher Wrestling Single Match Tickets Now on Sale for 2018-19 Season

Single match tickets are now on sale for Gopher Wrestling for the 2018-19 season.

The University of Minnesota will host eight home matches this season with the Gophers taking the mat against the likes of Oklahoma State University and Iowa. Single match tickets start at $15 with youth/senior tickets beginning at $10. University of Minnesota students will receive free entry into all home matches this season when they present their student ID.

The Gophers provide group rate ticket discounts for larger parties attending Minnesota matches this season. For parties of ten or more, tickets prices begin at $8 per seat.

The University of Minnesota will begin their home schedule this season by hosting the Cowboys of Oklahoma State University on Nov., 18 and South Dakota State the following weekend on Nov., 25^th.

The Gophers will return to Minneapolis for the start of their Big Ten conference schedule on Sunday, Jan., 6^th when they host Rutgers at Maturi Pavillion. The following weekend, Minnesota will host Big Ten rivals Iowa at the Pav. The Gophers home match against the Hawkeyes will be their first at the Pavillion since the 2016 season and will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Minnesota will return to Minneapolis and Maturi Pavillion to finish their Big Ten conference schedule in February. On Feb., 3 the Gophers will take on Purdue. Then following a trip to Nebraska, Minnesota will take the mat against Maryland and Indiana on consecutive weekends, facing the Terrapins and Hoosiers on Feb., 10 and Feb., 17 respectively. The Gophers will wrap up their home dual schedule on Feb. 21, hosting Rider. Minnesota defeated Rider a year ago in the first meeting between the two teams by a score of 32-12.

The University of Minnesota will host the 2019 Big Ten Championships from March 9-10, following the conclusion of the regular season.
