Exclusive | Huddersfield Town preparing offer for Brahim Konaté

Premier League newcomers Huddersfield Town are preparing an offer for Auxerre’s 21-year-old defensive midfielder Brahim Konaté, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.

Konaté, who has asked to leave Ligue 2 side Auxerre this summer, has already been the subject of a bid from Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem, who have had an initial proposal rebuffed by AJA. Zulte remain in negotiations with Konaté about a provisional contract.

Standard Liege are also in the mix, have come on strong in recent days with strong intent towards the player’s entourage.
