Even Cops Are Not Safe: Mumbai Sub-Inspector Accused Of Raping 31-YO Colleague Multiple Times

It seems that females anywhere in any position are not safe from sexual assault. Even women in position of powers are coerced into sexual misdeeds by men at senior posts.

A woman constable in Mumbai has registered a complaint against a sub-inspector with Navi Mumbai police’s Crime Branch on Saturday for allegedly raping her, an official said, PTI reported.

The woman who approached the Central Business District police station on Saturday alleged that sub-inspector, Amit Shelar had raped her in March last year after her cold drink had been spiked.
