Edinson Cavani will stay at PSG – agent

Speaking to Radio CRC, Claudio Anellucci, Edinson Cavani’s second agent aside from his half-brother, made it clear that he expects the Uruguayan to remain at PSG this summer.

“I do not think that it is at all possible for him to quit PSG. After the departure of Ibrahimovic, PSG want to keep their existing squad an reinforce in order to win the Champions League. PSG cannot lose two strikers.”

He was then asked about the hypothetical situation of Gonzalo Higuain joining the club:

“If he came to PSG, Cavani would be happy because it is always a good thing in terms of winning the Champions League.”
