Eddie Edwards Hospitalized After Accident Involving Baseball Bat At Impact Wrestling Tapings

Eddie Edwards is hospitalized following an unfortunate accident at tonight’s Impact Wrestling television tapings in Orlando, Florida.
Edwards defeated Sami Callihan in a singles match at the taping and was being attacked by his opponent after the match. Callihan placed a steel chair across Edwards’ head and blasted it with a baseball bat, however the bat ricocheted off of the chair and nailed Edwards on the top of his head.
Edwards reportedly returned to the backstage area with a lot of blood flowing from his head, and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. We will update you on his condition as soon as additional information becomes available.
