Chrissy Teigen's Perfect Lob Haircut Is Back

There has never been a more appealing time to cut all your hair off than at this very moment. For the majority of 2020, hairstylists and salons have been entirely inaccessible, rendering professional haircuts virtually impossible. It's also hot as hell outside, and your hair is most likely way longer than you ever wanted it to be. Toss in the fact that salons are back open in some states and you've got one very tempting chance to have it all chopped off. Chrissy Teigen must have had the same thought because she just debuted a brand new — and drastic — haircut.

"Short again," Teigen said while posing in an Instagram story on July 29. The video clip is only a few short seconds, but it doesn't fail to show just how much hair she had removed. Teigen has spent the majority of stay-at-home orders with highlighted hair that falls just below her waist. Now, she's got a long bob that grazes her shoulders. This haircut was the work of Los Angeles-based hairstylist Irinel de León, who also works with Hailey Bieber, Karlie Kloss, and the Kardashian family.

A look like this is definitely not one we see on Teigen that often. In fact, she's generally known for having extremely long hair. And by the looks of the model's Instagram, the last time we saw her with hair this short was back at the 2018 Emmy Awards — but her chin-length bob was very short-lived. Something tells me, however, that this hew lob is here to stay.
