Child Abuse Helpline Receives Calls For Sexual Services After Number Appears On Porn Site

A government helpline number that helped victims of child abuse cases to report their ordeal has been suspended for the time being after the authority started receiving lewd calls from people demanding sexual services.

The helpline authorities have launched an alternative number until the original number is brought back into operations. A senior officer of the National Commission For Protection Of Child Rights Officer told PTI that calls seeking sexual services were received by the officials, Times Now reported.
