Brock Lesnar Taps Out Cain Velasquez in Seconds to Retain, But Rey Mysterio Gets a Taste of Revenge
It was over in a matter of seconds.
Cain Velasquez looked firmly in control at WWE Crown Jewel this afternoon, delivering a stiff kick to the side of Brock Lesnar’s head, rocking the Universal Champion and sending him to the mat.
The UFC legend then set in with a barrage of punches looking to quickly seal the deal, but the “Beast Incarnate” clearly had his opponent scouted as he trapped Velasquez in his signature Kimura Lock hold, forcing an immediate submission.
The action didn’t stop there, as Lesnar continued to work out his aggressions with a steel chair, pummeling his latest victim over and over again. Rey Mysterio, whose arm appears to have healed up following several rounds of beatings at the hand of the “Beast”, saved the day with another steel chair, going absolutely crazy on the champion until he was forced to retreat from the ring and up the ramp to safety.
