Bayley Turning Heel? Mickie James Replaces Nia Jax, Kane Update

Bayley is still looked as a fan-favorite on WWE television. The former Raw Women’s Champion still has plenty of fans, but a potential feud between herself and her best friends, Sasha Banks, has been teased on WWE television lately. Most fans have assumed that Sasha would be the one to turn heel if they ever did have a falling out, but could Bayley be the one to turn evil instead? An advertisment for upcoming live event on March 16th in Madison Square Garden is advertising a mixed tag team match with John Cena & Nikki Bella teaming up to face “The Drifter” Elias & Bayley. While the two are scheduled to team up together in the Mixed Match Challenge, this has led some to speculate that they will remained partnered up beyond the tournament with Bayley turning to the dark side very soon.

WWE recently announced that the female stars of Monday Night Raw will be competing in an Elimination Chamber match for the very first time ever. General Manager Kurt Angle announced that Alexa Bliss will put the Raw Women’s Championship on the line in the match against Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Mickie James. Meanwhile, Nia Jax will face Asuka in a singles match on the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plans called for Nia Jax to compete in the Elimination Chamber instead of Mickie James. While Asuka still remains undefeated on the main roster, the Observer notes that the plan is still for Nia Jax to face Alexa Bliss for her title at WrestleMania.

Ever since Kane returned to WWE a few months back, he has had a tremendous amount of success. He has main evented pay-per-views against The Shield, he’s been made to look like a monster by getting wins over the likes of Finn Balor, and he even competed for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view last month. However, the belief is that Kane is currently dealing with an injury at the moment and the spot which saw Braun Strowman bury Kane underneath the announcer table area was done as a way to temporarily write him off of television. It looks like we have not seen the last of Kane. According to Wrestling Inc., Kane is now expected to return to the ring once again in March.
