Augsburg & Schalke 04 register interest in Sacha Boey (Rennes)

Bundesliga duo Schalke 04 and Augsburg have made initial enquiries for 19-year-old Rennes right-back Sacha Boey, according to Foot Mercato.

The teenager burst onto the Ligue 1 scene this season, making five appearances in the league and registering one assist in the process, as well as notching a couple of Europa League displays.

Under contract with SRFC until 2022, it appears that the Brittany side intend to keep him, especially with Hamari Traoré in high demand, notably with Real Betis chasing, who currently starts for Rennes at right-back.

The German duo are however so enamoured with Boey that they have each made a detailed presentation to him about how they would include him in their existing sporting projects.
