Another Duo Reportedly Asks for Their Release From WWE

— According to a report by Pro Wrestling Sheet, add Maria and Mike Kannellis as two more disgruntled employees who have apparently asked for a release from their WWE contracts. They add that the husband/wife duo has been “unhappy” with the way they’ve been used in WWE for a while and made the decision to request the release a few weeks ago.

— The pair signed with WWE in the spring of 2017 and made their debut a couple of months later at Money in the Bank. However, any potential plans the company had to push them were stalled when Mike revealed that he was battling addiction and Maria announced her pregnancy. Since then, they are back active but are rarely ever seen on TV except on 205 Live.
