All In Update: Mysterio Appearing, NWA Title Match, Show Length

Tickets for Cody Rhodes’s All In show finally went on sale earlier today. Plenty of huge names are scheduled to make an appearance at the show, including Rhodes himself, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and more. While there is no denying that there will be some star power at All In this fall, the event has just scored its biggest name yet. Prior to the tickets for the event going on sale earlier today, it was confirmed during the All In press conference that Rey Mysterio will be in action in Chicago. There is no word on what exactly Mysterio will be doing at the event, but his appearance likely means that he will not be returning to WWE for the foreseeable future as had previously been rumored.

That is not the only announcement that was made before the tickets for All In went on sale earlier today. The first match for the show was made official as well. During the All In press conference, it was announced that Billy Corgan’s National Wrestling Alliance will be represented on the show. The NWA World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line during the event. The championship could always change hands between now and September, but regardless of who ends up holding the title, that man will be left with no choice but to defend it against Cody Rhodes himself during the All In event in the Sears Centre in Chicago, Illinois later on this year. Other matches for the show still have yet to be announced.

Finally, one other important update concerning All In was confirmed over the weekend, and it has to do with the length of the show. With the amount of names that have been confirmed to appear in Chicago this fall, a lot of fans have been wondering just how long the show will end up being. Fortunately, an answer to that question has just been provided. While speaking with WrestleZone Radio, Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks confirmed that he, Nick Jackson, and Cody Rhodes are hoping that the event will run no longer than three hours. Jackson stated that he is not planning on running a five or six hour show because he thinks that a three hour event will keep fans engaged throughout without them getting worn out by the time the main event starts.
