During last night’s episode of Dynamite from Champaign, Brandi Rhodes and Awesome Kong attempted to recruit women’s division star Kris Statlander to their new Nightmare Collective faction when a mysterious woman appeared in the crowd, and offered herself as a member. Rhodes and Kong accepted her offer, and cut a piece of her hair in front of the live crowd, a ritual Rhodes has been doing for several weeks.
The mystery woman has been revealed as indie wrestler Melanie Cruise, a former competitor for Rise wrestling and SHIMMER, who made her debut back in 2008. Cruise would later take to Instagram to confirm her allegiance with the Nightmare Collective. According to Wrestling Inc, she has signed a contract with AEW. Cruise posted the following on her Instagram: “Prove yourself they said.”
