The Empire State Building lit up in yellow and black to promote Cena’s new film, Bumblebee. Cena stars in the Transformers spinoff as Agent Jack Burns, who is on a mission to bring down the fan favorite Autobot. The ceremony was followed by a special screening of the movie.
Cena’s work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation is well known to WWE fans, who have watched him grant over 500 wishes. That’s more than anyone else in the group’s history. John continues to be an ambassador for WWE to the outside world as his Hollywood career continues to grow.
Cena is coming back to Vince McMahon’s company but he won’t be working on TV. Cena is returning to the house show circuit but it may only be a matter of time until he appears once again on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live.
