HBK, Jeff Jarrett & Road Dogg Reflect On I-C Title Match At WWE In Your House 2 PPV (Video)

It is the 40th Anniversary Week of the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and it is getting kicked off with a trio of legends.

WWE Hall Of Famers Shawn Michaels, Jeff Jarrett and Road Dogg Brian James are featured in a special installment of the WWE original series, “WWE Playback.”

In the episode, the three pro wrestling legends reflect on their performances in the WWE In Your House 2: The Lumberjacks pay-per-view from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee back on July 23, 1995.

The 20-minute contest saw “The Heartbreak Kid” defeat “Double J” due to an accidental assist from “The Roadie” to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

The title changed hands for the 34th time in what at the time was the 16-year history of the championship. It also marked the start of Michaels’ third reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion.

WWE released the video on their official YouTube channel to kick-off the 40th Anniversary of the WWE Intercontinental Championship special programming. The video is titled, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Jarrett and Road Dogg watch an Intercontinental Title classic: WWE Playback, and features the following official description:

“In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Intercontinental Title, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Jarrett and Road Dogg sit down to watch their classic Intercontinental Championship Match from In Your House 2.”
