WrestleMania Plans for Shane McMahon, Young Returns, Edwards News
WrestleMania is just around the corner, which means that it is time for Shane McMahon to compete in a match once again. Ever since returning to WWE back in 2016, McMahon has been prominently featured in WrestleMania matches. He lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32, then lost again to AJ Styles at WrestleMania 33 last year. While it may seem like a match between himself and Daniel Bryan is on the horizon, Brad Shepard of Bodyslam.net has reported that Dolph Ziggler will face McMahon at the event this year. Ziggler recently brought up the fact that he has never had a singles match at WrestleMania before, so it looks like that may change for good this April.
Darren Young was among the talent that was released from WWE late last year. He had been working for WWE for a number of years and he was also the first wrestler to come out as openly gay while under contract to WWE. Despite losing his job with WWE, Young has confirmed that he will be returning to independent wrestling very soon. In fact, he just competed as Fred Rosser in his first post-WWE match during a recent WrestlePro event in New Jersey. Young defeated Impact Wrestling superstar Fallah Bahh He talked about Bahh after the match and discussed his return to the ring on social media. Indeed, it looks like the former WWE Tag Team Champion is back.

It is no secret that Impact Wrestling has lost quite a number of big names this year already. EC3 recently left in favor of joining WWE, and the likes of Bobby Lashley, Chelsea Green, and Alberto El Patron are now rumored to be in talks to join WWE soon as well. The company has reportedly also had interest in signing Impact’s Eddie Edwards to a deal. Despite the fact that his contract was set to expire, it looks like Edwards will be sticking around in Impact Wrestling for a while. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter just reported that Edwards has re-signed with the promotion. It is unclear how long Edwards has decided to stay with Impact for at this point in time.
