‘Single’ Students At Delhi’s Hindu College Pray To ‘Virgin Tree’ To Find Love, Lose Virginity!

When the couples in the campus already have plans to celebrate Valentine’s Day outside with their partners, the singles at Hindu College have planned an iconic puja that it conducts every year. The students choose a a Bollywood actress, called Damdami Mai, every year and pray to her in front of a ‘virgin tree’.

The students believe that praying to pictures of the actress would help them find love and lose their virginity. However, many organisations have criticised the practice, calling it misogynistic.
