After TRAI Chief’s Fiasco, UIDAI Is Planning To List Dos And Don’ts Of Sharing Aadhaar Details

After TRAI chief’s challenge of hacking his Aadhaar data went haywire and became a subject of ridicule, the UIDAI is planning a user outreach to aware about the dos and don’ts of sharing their biometric identifier.

The UIDAI intends to equate the Aadhaar number with other personal information such as PAN, bank account and credit card number to caution users against placing their personal details in public domain, particularly on Facebook and Twitter.
