India’s Fastest Train Gets Stoned, This Is Not The First Time People Have Attacked New Trains

Train 18, which was recently renamed as Vande Bharat Express, is set to be a gamechanger for the Indian Railways. The indigenously built train which can clock speeds of up to 160 kmph will be the fastest train in the country once it begins operations.

So how do we welcome the new train? By throwing stones at its windows, apparently! Train 18 which is still on trial run came under stone pelting on Friday night in Delhi.

The train was running between Delhi-Varanasi route on Friday night when stones were pelted on it at Shadra, damaging window glasses.
