Lady Gaga Rocks Denim Alexander Wang Cutoffs as She Receives Fan Art in N.Y.C.

Lady Gaga knows how to transform.

Just one day after giving us a blast from the past in a retro pink pastel dress for her goddaughter’s baptism, the 30-year-old pop star stepped out of her Manhattan apartment on Monday in a look that proves she defines all things rock star. Gaga graciously took time to meet with excited Little Monsters and take their fan art—she regularly highlights her favorites on stage when she’s touring.

One particular fan might have caught her eye with a black-and-white illustration she held onto, but it’s her casual style that we’re digging. The singer, actress, and indisputable multi-hyphenate star simply threw on a V-neck tee with a matching ‘90s-like pair of Alexander Wang distressed denim shorts and silver cowboy boots. Following the news of her split from fiancé Taylor Kinney, the star is also evidently seeing the world through rose-colored glasses, too. Her silver necklace gave the ensemble an edge, as well.

On Monday, Gaga also took time to express her political inclinations and watched the Democratic National Convention with her sister.
